Bright Eyes Family Services, LLC is a mental and behavioral health facility who focuses on addressing the emotional, financial, familial, educational, and basic needs that act as barriers to the client’s ability to function as a successful member of society. Bright Eyes Family Services, LLC utilizes a comprehensive, recovery-oriented approach to treatment, which includes individual, family, and group therapy, as well as case management and behavioral health rehabilitation services. By utilizing a System's approach in conjunction with person-centered treatment goals, we are able to empower and improve the quality of life for young adults and their families, who struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-harm, suicidal ideation, family conflict, communication, and other impairments to daily life, relationships, and healthy development.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a treatment method that addresses the psychological needs of the client. Psychotherapy can also be simply called "therapy" or "counseling," and is used to help with mental health issues like depression, anxiety, and trauma.
Individual PsychotherapyIndividual therapy occurs when the therapist and client meet face-to-face for a session. Sessions typically last ~50 minutes, sometimes shorter or longer depending on the therapist's schedule the client's needs. During this meeting, the client and therapist work towards mutually agreed upon goals that are person-centered and recovery-oriented in nature. Sometimes, the client and therapist may decide it would be beneficial to bring a family member into their session, this may be a sibling, caregiver, or partner. Sessions typically take place once or twice weekly at the start of therapy; as problems decrease, frequency may be reduced if agreed upon by both provider and client.
Family PsychotherapyFamily therapy takes place when the provider and client deem it beneficial to bring one or more family members into a session in order to work towards resolving an issue. Depending on the nature of the conflict, family sessions may include one or many family members, and family sessions may vary in their composition as best determined by the provider. Family therapy is a useful option when the client's symptoms intersect with a family member or stem from familial discord. Family therapy can also be used to assist family members with the transitions that occur as the individual client makes progress towards their goals. Typically, family sessions occur as-needed, but may increase or decrease in frequency depending on the progress or needs of the client.
Group TherapyGroup therapy generally consists of a therapy session in which a group of people meet in order to help each other manage a problem or reach a goal with the assistance and facilitation of a therapist. Group sessions can range from ~60-90 minutes, and include individuals with similar goals, concerns, or backgrounds. Group therapy can be an effective way to improve an individual client's functioning, as group members often learn from and support each other. Groups can be created for almost any problem, depending on projected attendance and relevant need.

Behavioral Health Rehabilitation ServicesRehabilitation services are face-to-face with the client and assists in their ability to function in the community, it is provided to both children and/or adults. This service provides education on coping strategies that increase the client's ability to live as a functioning member in the community. The education serves to improve self-care and social skills, and promote healthy lifestyle changes and recovery practices. Rehabilitation services can be offered individually or in a group setting, it is provided with the format of curriculum based education and skills training, and this out-patient service is provided in the Bright Eyes office. The curriculum used is goal-oriented to better assist the client in achieving the maximum support to reduce mental and/or behavioral health impairments. The primary purpose in providing rehabilitation services is for the client to strive to restore and function at their highest mental and/or behavioral health capacity.
Adults and children must meet certain qualifications to be eligible for BHR services, as defined by the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) 317:30-5-241.3. Case ManagementBehavioral Health Case Management (BHCM) is a service that begins with an assessment do determine the client's needs. Once needs are identified, BHCM provides linkage, advocacy and referral assistance with the client, family members, law enforcement personnel, community agencies and other supports identified as a need to the client. BHCM goals are to provide continuous care for the client that utilize services of mental health, substance abuse, prevention or other services to support the client in self-sufficiency. Case management services may provided in the individual’s home, in the community, or in a facility. ODMHSAS describes it as "A certified Behavioral Health Case Manager works with the consumer and their identified supports, in accordance with a treatment plan developed with and approved by the recipient and qualified staff to reach the consumer's goals to remain successful in their recovery."
