Our Mission

Services

Our mission at Bright Eyes Family Services, LLC is to help young adults and their families function at the highest capacities in home, school, work, and social environments by encouraging the use of communication, mindfulness, and confidence for navigating life’s peaks and valleys through counseling, behavioral health, and case management services.
At BEFS, we provide office-based mental health services on an outpatient level. We offer various options for psychotherapy (individual, family, group), behavioral health rehabilitation, and case management services. We are centrally located in OKC to better serve the surrounding communities of Norman, Edmond, Mid-Del, and Yukon.
Do you know the symptoms of mental illness? Are you paying attention to your teen's mental health? Here are some things to look out for that may be indicative of an individual struggling with mental illness:
  • lack of social interactions or peer relationships
  • persistent fear or worry
  • anger or aggression
  • using negative language in reference to self-worth
    and self-perception
  • changes in sleep and/or appetite
  • somatic symptoms that have no clear origin
    (headaches, stomach pain, etc.)
  • substance use
  • changes in academic performance
National Alliance on Mental Illness, 2018
Sometimes, symptoms can be misinterpreted as laziness, attitude, or written off as "a phase". If your teen demonstrates any of the symptoms listed above, or tells you they are struggling with their mental health, it is important to take them seriously and pursue treatment to keep your teen safe and prevent escalation. A list of crisis intervention services can be found on our Resource page.
