Sophie Christiansen holds a Master of Social Work degree from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Oklahoma. She is currently under clinical supervision for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Her  experience spans a variety of settings and populations, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed and person-centered care. She
has supported individuals experiencing homelessness as an advocate, providing crisis intervention and facilitating access to essential resources. She also has experience working in a jail-based program for pregnant women, where she offered advocacy, support, and resource coordination tailored to the unique needs of mothers experiencing incarceration. Additionally, she has experience in infant and early childhood mental health, where she applied play therapy techniques to support emotional expression, promote healthy attachments with caregivers and build coping skills to support emotional regulation.

"My therapeutic approach is grounded in creating a safe, affirming environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered. I operate from a strengths-based perspective, honoring each person's inherent resilience and capacity for growth. My goal is to walk alongside and support clients as they work toward their unique goals for healing and well-being."
